I am able to post via email (smart phone) but not able to post pictures. Later today I will venture out in search of WiFi to do a better post with pictures. Of those I want to post are some pics of the great folks around here who all came out to help each other.
The power comany (AEP) is telling the radio stations that it could be a week until power is restored.
As bad as it is here, and other than the annoyance of no power it is not THAT bad, I can only imagine the hell the people in Texas went through and are going through. I feel for them.
If you are reading this, please comment. Do you have power? Did you have damage? Share your story.
BTW if there are spelling errors, please excuse me. I am typing on a small Palm Centro keyboard with no spell check.

Lost power in Steubenville, Ohio last night, got it back this afternoon. Good luck!
We're thinking of moving inland to avoid all this hurricane action.
I'm from the Atwood Lake area. We're still without electricity. Lots of downed trees and stuff. Crazy, it's not like the trees broke they were freaking uprooted! very bizarre.
A friend of mine lives about a half hour away and they had their power back on Monday. Our electric people are telling us a week maybe 2.
At least I can go to work and have a hot meal there. I'm going to a friends house for a hot shower tonight, tired of dunking in a cold bucket.
still though, it's not even close to the texas hit areas.
I got power back later on Monday. Did not lose too much food but the two trees out front are history
