Senator Sara Palin

It looks like Sen. Stevens of Alaska may win his seat again. The senate will kick him out, so that leaves an open seat. Unless I am wrong, the governor of Alaska get to appoint someone, right?

I have a recommendation for the Governor. She should appoint herself. How do you like them apples?

Are you wrong? Yes. Her name is Sarah not Sara. However, beyond that, it would be an awful call on her part. I read the other day that 7 or 8 governors have previously appointed themselves to the senate upon the death or resignation of the elected senator. Every one of them went on to lose the special election. Also, some of her appeal is because she is not a DC insider.

It is no secret that my spelling lacks skills :-)

Well, I hope Sarah does pick herself. Would love to see it.

i would totally support her as long as she followed the christian doctrine from the bible, and not the radical, misguiding policy used today known as the bush doctrine. That i will never support and would go as far as to support the opposite party. There nothing worse than a hypocrite besides knowingly supporting one.
